Faraday constant

The Faraday constant is the total electric charge carried by one mole of electrons: F = N_A · e ≈ 96485 C/mol. It is the key conversion factor in electrochemistry, linking the moles of electrons transferred in a half-reaction to the coulombs of charge passed in electrolysis and electrochemical cell calculations.
